Halloween Craft #1

See how I named it #1? Makes you think there will be a #2, huh? Maybe a #3? Yes! There will be! As soon as I think of some more. But for now...

Toilet Paper Tube Halloween Crafts!

This is a great one to do with kids. Set 'em up, knock 'em out, all while the baby naps. Here we go...

Step 1: Dig through the bathroom trash. Eww. Don't do that. Instead, start hoarding things that would normally end up in the bathroom trash. Yeah. That sounds better.

You need toilet paper tubes or paper towel tubes. That long skinny one is from a roll of wrapping paper.

Step 2: Fold the edges in like this. Now gaze at the form. What do you see? A cat? An owl? A monster?

Step 3: Find an elven assistant. This little elf is very wise. She taught me how to make eye sparkles.

Step 4: Paint!
Know what else those pointy heads made me think of?

Aaaah! Let the wild rumpus start!

I love it and I want to add it to my "On The Lap" website as a connections project for the book "Where the Wild Things Are" of course. So, I'm sending them to your site but I'm also going to share the instructions. Thanks for the cute ideas! I keep checking your store for some new toys, Christmas is coming.
