Fall harvest

Tomatoes, zucchini, basil, and a strawberry. Emma loves taking care of Jon's vegetable garden. We will be eating zucchini in some form every night for the next 2 weeks.

And dirty socks under the kitchen table. Just to give you a dose of reality. I get so tired of telling the kids to pick up their dirty socks. I've tried everything. I've charged them a dollar for every sock I find. Jon wads the socks into a ball and chucks it at them. I'm constantly saying "Look what the dirty sock fairy left us!" One time I said in a really saccharine tone, "Look, Emma, the dirty sock fairy left us five socks!" You know what she said? In the same saccharine tone? "You must've have been extra good!"
