Love!
This is seahorse pillow 2.0. I love how it turned out! Did I mention how huge it is? Over 2 feet in length. And heavy duty canvas = no lumps! I'm going to sell the pattern as soon as I can get it written up. It seems to take forever to go from completing a design to getting it into a sellable etsiable form. Thanks for the comments and advice about the stuffing, you guys. You are so nice!
Katie, it is gorgeous! I'm such a sucker for solids, and neutrals, and this is such a beautiful pillow. I love the curl of the tail, the little pointy spine reverse-scalloped edge (or whatever it's called by people who actually know the proper names for such things), the raised ridged lines. Ah...... it is perfection!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I KNEW those ridged pin tucks would look GREAT ending in the spine ridges, so glad you took them all the way down the spine. Love love love it - gorgeous! You are so talented!
ReplyDeletewowa cool!!
ReplyDeleteThis is just pure genius. WOW!!!
ReplyDeleteCutest pillow ever! I'd love to see it in a spring sea green color!
ReplyDeleteI love it! Your hard work paid off. I can't wait to buy the pattern.
ReplyDeleteholy wow! two feet? makes me think you should attach a broom handle and let the kiddies ride it around the house...a hobby seahorse?
ReplyDeleteSUCH a fun pillow!
ReplyDeleteAdorable!
ReplyDeleteooh I'm with Holly. A hobby seahorse would be sweet. But the pillow is sweet too.
ReplyDeleteHow lame am I, commenting on this post twice? I just love that seahorse, what can I say.
Is this pillow pattern still available for sale on etsy? I've always adored seahorses and would love to create one for my baby nursery!
ReplyDeleteI would pay you to make me one for my baby girls nursery... Interested?
