A Wall Hook...I Die
Sometimes I make something, and I think, "blehhh whatever" and then sometimes I make something, and I can't stop carrying it around because I love it so much.
I've been carrying this fox wall hook around for like a week now.
So for now, I carry it around.
I love that wall hook and would carry it around too!
ReplyDeleteArgh, that's the cutest thing EVER. And yes please on the tutorial, whether free or for-a-fee....
ReplyDeleteO please make a tutorial, this is so cute!
ReplyDeleteAnd than make another one with feet, so that you can put it on a table and let it hold tissue or letters :-)
While I would love to learn how to make one myself, the reality is that I probably won't ever get around to it. So if you were to sell them, I probably buy some and I think plenty others would too. :)
ReplyDeleteEither a tutorial or make them to sell them - but I want one! Please!
ReplyDeletehow much? i buy?! lol... but seriously..how much?
ReplyDeleteso cute!! I would love a tutorial- but honestly I would buy one in a second.

Love it! I'm like someone else above... As much as I'd love to make one, I probably won't. It doesn't look as easy as you say! So, I'd buy one or four... I need some to hang all of my sons dress up hats on. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteSell them PLEASE! I want so hard, but I know I'm too tired to mess with wood veneer.
ReplyDeletehuh... interesting. i thought i was the only one who dealt with such dilemmas... i love your hook. it's gorgeous and clever. what you should do with your hook is a good question. if i were you, i would sell a tutorial. because the reality of making a gazillion of those hooks is... well... can you see yourself making a gazillion hooks? do you want to make a gazillion hooks? i don't know. but you could reap the benefits of having created this beautiful thing (financially, that is) by selling a tutorial that shows people how to do it themselves, without the backbreaking work of making a gazillion of them.
ReplyDeletejust one girl's opinion.
did i mention i love the hook? it's fabulous!
i go through the same thing. how about you make a tutorial and sell them? that way diy-ers who want to get around them can... and then those who are to busy or have no desire to create can but them ;)
ReplyDeleteso super cute! yes, i am thinking one for the dining room table for napkins, and one for my kids craft table for their notebooks.
ReplyDeletei say i want to make my own, but i know it would never be as perfect as the one you made, so please, please sell!
ReplyDeleteOh please sell those sweet little foxes! As much as I'd love to learn how to make them, I really don't need anything new added to my massive to-do list.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are so nice. You totally get me.
ReplyDeleteUm, perfect.
ReplyDeleteStrong enough to hold a coat? I love them. Cutest thing for a kids room (or my room) I've seen in a long time.
The possibilities are endless...wall hook, display your favorite children's book (with feet), even a napkin holder (again with feet).... the possibilities are endless!! Paint them, stain them with polyurethane! There are even pink? blue? purple?

The strength would scale with the amount of layers of veneer.
I know you want a fox motif for your thanksgiving place settings!!!
I love this little fox… Sell it? What a good idea!
ReplyDeletesell! sell!! it's so stinkin' cute!
ReplyDeleteIt is oh so lovely!
ReplyDeleteI suggest selling it and making a tutorial :)
Ahem, may I suggest a direction that may solve your identity crisis? Perhaps you should just out together a book proposal with all of your fabulous and original ideas and just get a book published for all of us to enjoy and to give you a more cemented sense of who you really are and why you do this. Just an idea.
ReplyDeleteI guess the little (lamp) fox is not alone now to be carried around ;)
ReplyDeleteYou are a telented crafter and have a wonderful personality. Chapeau !
So incredibly cute! I would love a tutorial (always wanted to learn how to work with wood veneer) but would also love to be able to buy them.
ReplyDeletePlease do a tutorial! I can't see how that would be easy but would love to find out! What a great present this would make for the holidays!
ReplyDeleteLove your site!
Michelle
Adorable, wonderful, love, love, love!
ReplyDeleteI would like to make this, too. :3
ReplyDeleteLol, this post is priceless :) I totally do the same thing when I make crafty bits. I've never made anything this impressive and would love a tutorial.. You could always make and sell them for those lazies that don't have time to make them. Probably me too :D
ReplyDeleteGorgeous design!
i just discovered your blog and i love everything! i have a 10 month old daughter so id have to join the lazies buying these, but buy them i would. i only make decorated stationary so youve really impressed me!

I'd like to say I would make one of these, but I am probably far too lazy. I'd totally buy one on Etsy though! Very cute.
