Say Hello to Jeremiah Brent
We weren't entirely sure what his exact job would be here in the company, but he's just so darn cute. Turns out he's very talented, too. We gave him his first job and he KILLED it. Literally. It was a bug in the kitchen. He killed it.
So we've offered him a full time, committed position with us. He said yes.
Ms. Norwood is going to be sooo pissed when she gets back from Santorini.

Congratulations! Today is Black Cat Awareness Day (they are the least adopted color of cat because people are superstitious) so it's great that you are giving a black cat a home. And so close to Halloween, too! :)
ReplyDeleteAH, Megan, that's so sad! I have a black cat and love her to pieces!!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I bet even Ms. Norwood will secretly love him.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Hairy Winston has a replacement?
ReplyDeleteI don't know. Hairy is much more established, if you know what I mean ($$$$).
ReplyDeleteHaha, it's so cute, what about give it a DIY cloth?
ReplyDeleteyes. welcome jeremiah brent. we are glad to meet you.
ReplyDeleteWelcome Jeremiah! Our Tom-Tom has been filling this position in Chez Plaid; he does quite well with anything bug-sized but mice seem to fall into the "entertainment" category rather than "noms" category. While his catch & release policy does indeed provide us some excitement, it's often at inconvenient hours. Hence my recent purchase of mousey glue traps....
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to stop by to tell you I laughed out loud at this post. It wasn't an "lol," 'cause those are dumb. It was more like, "HAHAHAHAHA!"
ReplyDeleteAlso, I frickin' love that Jeremiah has a dedicated position with the company! I was DYING over every twist and turn with that poor kid. Now, I feel like the world is a better place, because his job is more secure.
