She'll need to go out once in the morning, once in the afternoon, and once a week to Bergdorfs for a shampoo and set. Just let me know where I should send her Louis Vuitton steamer trunk full of Ferragamos.

I call this photo, "Excuse me, your skull is right where I need to stand. Some of us are trying to work." It's part of a very long series.

  5. I cannot tell you how funny it is to me that the first commenter evidently realized she was first and withdrew her comment. Hahahaha. Oh, that's so hilarious! See that Norwood?

I think she's still alive because I keep getting her Neimans charge card bill in the mail. Oh, and I can hear her snoring.

  6. Katie! I'm late (phew) but wanted to ask - is that the Stairwell of Death from the previous post? It looks scary. Beautiful, but scary in an elevator-shaft-from-mission-impossible sort of way.

  7. Would she be willing to take on an apprentice? We already have an assistant and we're very fond of her, but she is a little inexperienced.

  8. She will require an apprentice to put ice cubes in her water dish.
LiEr, do you get the feeling that every house in Minnesota constructed after 1980 was built by the exact same contractor?

    1. Yep. Takes cookie-cutter to a whole new level. Sorta like a sewing pattern gone viral.

  9. lol, ah Ms Norwood, you've made my day.. once again. she's lovely but with 4 neurotic cats of my own.. All my assistant jobs are filled and when they all the decide it's naptime, the schnauzer takes over! and.. he doesn't know he's a dog.. shhh.. don't tell him. That is a very high area that you painted.. I think I would have asked the sportsman to do that part..lol.. In my case I would have heard every 4 letter word he learned over 22 years in the Navy but he would have 'eventually' done it! and he's afraid of heights! Oh and a side note.. I don't envy you in Minnesota. I once spent 2 weeks in Duluth.. and I'm here to tell you.. Minnesota is the coldest place on EARTH. I have a daughter in Anchorage and I've been there in summer and winter and it can't match Minnesota for COLD.. BRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.. don't know how you do it.
