Ms. Norwood

  1. I'm breaking my traditional blog-lurking silence to express my sympathies. Ms. Norwood had more personality than any other cat I've never met. She will be missed...more than you'll know!

  10. Oh, oh, no, what sorrow. I came looking for a sassy Ms. Norwood post, and when I saw this, my heart collapsed. She will always be remembered as the classiest feline on the internet. (And there are a lot of cats on the internet.) Ms. Norwood, we will always adore you.

    So sorry for your loss.

  13. I am not a cat person, but I think Mrs. Norwood may have been the exception to the rule. She certainly seemed exceptional.

I hope she is enjoying the giant Bergdorf's in the sky.

  28. Another lurker writing to say how sorry I am. It's difficult to explain to my husband why I'm crying over the loss of a cat that I never met in person. Ms. Norwood will be missed!

  29. I am so so sorry for your loss! After a series of golden retrievers my whole life, I wound up with two Siamese-mix rescue cats that are the light of my life. Abita is the boss of me and Beignet is the boss of us both! It is amazing what a hold these small furry creatures have on our hearts. What amazing memories your family must have as Mrs. Norwood's pets!

I have this clear vision of Mrs. Norwood barreling across the rainbow bridge in her Lincoln, to a heaven where Petsmarts all serve Chardonnay and all feline grooming takes place in Bergdorfs's beauty parlor. God bless you Mrs. Norwood!
