WWJD
Have you heard of this philosophy? It helps guide me through times of uncertainty. Today, for instance, I have so much to do and only one hour until the baby wakes up. Should I mop the kitchen? Clean the bathrooms? Do the laundry? Work on the papier mache project? The woodworking project? The new sewing pattern? So I ask myself, "What would Jackie do?"
Thanks, Jackie. I feel much better now.
Wear the Chanel.
Thanks, Jackie. I feel much better now.
Ah, now I know how to order my life. I am so trying this!!!
ReplyDeleteMrs. Norwood could have told you that!
ReplyDeletehahahahaha.
ReplyDeleteI totally fell for that one!
ReplyDeleteI think I will try WWMAD. What would Marie Antoinette do? LOL Let them eat cake!
You made my day. My son and I just had a talk about my needing/wanting to do soooo many things. He says I need to figure out what's really important--and that it was not fixing up the house. Now I have a solution!! Since Jackie was an editor I think she'd want me to do lots more writing (and shopping)!
ReplyDeleteI fell for that too! Love it!
ReplyDeleteha ha ha - Love it!
ReplyDeleteTotally got me. I agree though it does sound like a fabulous idea.

ReplyDeletei vote for anything that doesn't resemble housework (eeewwww......hisssss)
I love your blog, you always leave me smiling (or is that a smirk?)!! Your sense of humor is dangerously close to mine! And today's post leaves me with one more way to rationalize myself out of doing housework - a win-win!!
ReplyDeleteWWMD - What would Martha do
ReplyDeleteNever, ever choose bathrooms over papier mache. That's just wrong.
