WWJD

Have you heard of this philosophy? It helps guide me through times of uncertainty. Today, for instance, I have so much to do and only one hour until the baby wakes up. Should I mop the kitchen? Clean the bathrooms? Do the laundry? Work on the papier mache project? The woodworking project? The new sewing pattern? So I ask myself, "What would Jackie do?"

Wear the Chanel.

Thanks, Jackie. I feel much better now.

  4. You made my day. My son and I just had a talk about my needing/wanting to do soooo many things. He says I need to figure out what's really important--and that it was not fixing up the house. Now I have a solution!! Since Jackie was an editor I think she'd want me to do lots more writing (and shopping)!

  9. I love your blog, you always leave me smiling (or is that a smirk?)!! Your sense of humor is dangerously close to mine! And today's post leaves me with one more way to rationalize myself out of doing housework - a win-win!!
