May something Nineteen ninety whatever

This is the conversation I had with Jon yesterday:

Me:   Hey, is it our anniversary today?
Jon:   No, tomorrow.
Me:   Right, tomorrow. Ten years.
Jon:   Eleven.
Me:   Yeah, eleven years. Happy anniversary.
Jon:   Happy anniversary.

  1. Wow, it's like we're the same person. I always know the date because it's Bastille day, but I have no idea how many years.

  2. LOL, my husband and I are the same way. Hey, did you know our anniversary is tomorrow? Oh, yeah, I totally forgot. Should we go out for dinner or something? Sure.

  3. Haha. Sounds familiar. My uncle just called the other day and asked me the date of our wedding, and I wasn't sure what it was. Had to confer with the husband. Felt like an idiot.

  4. One year my husband and I both forgot it...we were moving .

...and who celebrates Bastille Day? Francophiles?

  5. So glad to hear we're not the only ones! 5 years married, and we have not once remembered! One year I called my Mom to have her sit for the girls so we could go out for our anniversary, and she told me I had the wrong week... oops!

  6. Hilarious! Our first year of marriage I told someone our anniversary was June 1st, not 2nd, because I was thinking of the year (2001). My hubby hasn't let me live it down since.

Lucky hubbies to not have to worry about getting "in trouble" if they ever forget! :)
