My Passive Aggressive Assistant

She keeps leaving me one cat turd in the middle of the laundry room floor. If she were any other cat, it would only mean, "Here's one cat turd in the middle of the laundry room floor." But you know Ms. Norwood. I'm sure she's mad about something. And then I have to pick it up with toilet paper and flush it down the toilet. And then I go to my computer and google "maine coon life expectancy".

In case you're new to my blog and don't know about my relationship with my assistant, I suggest you start here:

  1. Now that's one PA I would definitely NOT be messing with!

Hope that there's a quick resolution to this conflict.

  2. My cat did that once when we had to give him pills. He retaliated by leaving some well placed "presents" on my husband's backpack. Once we stopped, he stopped.

I just thought you might appreciate knowing that the ad that showed up alongside this post was for "toilet partitions". I'm not even sure what that means.

  5. HI, new to your blog and noticed the Maine Coon. I have a red tabby Maine Coon that is 17 years old and loves to sit on my keyboard thru the night and do computer searches. She also likes to make sure my projects are suitable for sleeping on before they are finished. Love the blog.

  6. I have a Maine Coon as well and when he does something like that it is always for a reason! It is crazy how smart and passive aggressive they are :)

  7. You know what? I think it's just typical maine coon behavior. Our boy K.C likes to pee on the mats and/or in any box or container he can find. BUT he only ever does this when he thinks we've done something to upset him. Like patted another of our 5 cats, or not fed him enough, or left him outside too long...
Yep, typical Maine Coon. Oh he uses the middle of the lawn to do his business too...

  8. Omg!!! I think my Shasta is a Maine Coon, well she sure is big enough. I've finding little turdy gifts just 6 inches from the cat box and now they are spreading. Is she trying to tell me that the cat box needs help? lmao Her sister is a long haired calico that has a rag doll personality.

  9. If this is something new and she's not done it before, it may mean an infection "down there." One of our cats started doing that, we took him to the vet who gave him a shot of something, and no more gifts like this in the house.

  10. My Rag doll cat has been doing this for years! Drives me nuts!! He goes right in front of the litter pan.... if I'm lucky! Most of the time it's on the floor in random areas. He's 15 years old. Apparently, rag dolls can live to be 25 years old! yup....
